NEW ROTATIONALLY INVARIANT TItELLIS CODES FOR 8PSK MODULATION

چکیده

Rotationally invariant trellis codes often are of significant importance for fast and easy receiver synchronization and acquisition. With the help of 2-dimensional symbol constellations new 8PSK trellis codes are presented that are rotationally invariant to phase shifts by multiples of a/4 without an increase in complexity over noninvariant codes. (1 -dimensional coding: 1D-coding). Recently trellis codes were Dresented where two consecutive channel symbols are combined to one code symbol (often referred to as 2D-coding). This technique has been used for 8PSK modulation, e.g. to derive high-rate codes (4 or to optimize performance to obtain rotationally invariant 8PSK trellis codes. characteristics 151.
